Superman!!

We piled up the bean bags at the bottom of the stairs and the kids... big and small... had fun jumping from the top of the stairs. Sabien said he was superman :) Of course Ken had to get in the action. I love Donovan's face.

New Toy

This week we bought a new bed! I was so excited as I have been wanting one for a long time now. We got it at RC Willey and they had a promotion that we could get this elliptical for pretty cheap. I don't have a picture of the bed but Ken and Kristian put the elliptical together today. I am leaving it in the living room so hopefully I will use it more while I am watching tv. We shall see but I am excited :)

Christmas Eve

We spent Christmas eve with Ken's family. Ken's Aunt Christy Uncle Mike and cousin Brandon came down from Wyoming for the holiday. Ken's brothers were happy with their gifts. I think Cathy really loved her present. Who knew we would get such a reaction from bed sheets :) We were spoiled and got some awesome gifts. Ken was super excited for the speed bag he got and I love my new mixer. Donovan got a Star Wars game for the WII. He also got a gun to go with it and when he opened it his reaction was.... "WICKED!" Where does he come up with this stuff? Even little Roxy got a present. We had a lot of fun. Thanks Olsons for all the wonderful gifts!!!!

Pretty Lights

Ken's Aunt brought us some 3D glasses to look at the Christmas lights. It was awesome and I wished there was some way to capture what we saw. I put the glasses up to my camera and it worked! The kids (both old and young) enjoyed looking at all the different shapes. Stars Snowflakes Santa Faces (though you can't really tell) Candycanes and Stockings The Snowmen were my favorite

Christmas Morning

It was so nice to have our first Christmas in our new house. Donovan was with us and we had a nice relaxing morning opening presents. Donovan got tons of fun stuff he was really excited. He has wanted a pair of Heelys forever! Spoiled!! Chunks had fun with his gifts too. With this one Ken opened the end and Chunks knew instantly what it was. He grabbed the end and pulled it out of the wrapping paper. He was a happy dog :) Ken's big present was hiding at my parent's but he had plenty of presents to open and keep him busy. He was really happy to get some bullets for his gun. He hasn't shot his new gun yet but now hopefully we will soon! Ken and I both got new phones. I got a gift card to pick out some new shoes (does my husband know me or what) and some new snowpants. I am determined to take Ken snowboarding this year. But the best gift of all was when I looked outside and Ken made me think the car got stolen. When I went out to check I found this................... I was so excited!! I have wanted one of these for so long. Now we can fit comfortably when we go camping. I told Ken that now we have to camp loads this summer. :) Yep, I am spoiled too!

Madness!

Christmas afternoonish all my family meets at Mum and Dad's to exchange gifts. We draw names since there are so many of us. It is craziness cramming us all into one room to open gifts. Here are the kids waiting anxiously for Nana to give the okay to tear into them! We let all the kids open theirs and then we went around the room and the adults took turns opening their gifts. Rachel Daniel and Donell checking out the loot. Matthew Andrew and Dad all enjoyed their gifts There were no seats left for Jake and Aubrey Uncle Dave travels back and forth to England alot so everyone hopes someone in his family will draw their name because it usually means something from England. Kristian got some new England and Man City hats. He was so excited he wore them all at once :) Auntie Julie and family waiting their turn. I lucked out with a Wilson drawing my name so I got a care package from England full of chocolate and all kinds of good stuff. I was very excited! Poor Mum was very last After the gift exchange Ken got to open his big gift from me. It was hiding at my parents and way too heavy for me to carry so I left it there ;) He loves the new 6 ft bean bag!! Then it was time to eat. Some didn't stay to eat as they had to go to their other familys so it was a really small group this year. Only 18 people. We had the grownup tables down in the family room. And the kid table up in the dinning room. After the yummy food we all just sat around lazy, napped, and played the WII. Then is was more food later on that night. It was an awesome Christmas!!!!
